The Gwyl Gerdd Llanfyllin Festival

The Gwyl Gerdd Llanfyllin Festival was founded in 1971. The Allegri String Quartet, together with other musicians of international calibre, visit Llanfyllin during the summer months to perform classical chamber music in St Myllin's Church.

The Allegri are also involved in educational outreach work in the local schools during their visits. Please contact the Secretary if you want more information on this. A report has been written to describe the activities during our 2008 Festival Season.

This year's Festival programme is now available on the Concert Programmes page.

The Chairman's Newsletter is now available.
