The Gwyl Gerdd Llanfyllin Festival

The Gwyl Gerdd Llanfyllin Festival was founded in 1971. The Allegri String Quartet, together with other musicians of international calibre, visit Llanfyllin during the summer months to perform classical chamber music in St Myllin's Church.

The Allegri are also involved in educational outreach work in the local schools during their visits.

This year we ran a Children's Concert in the Llanfyllin Institute on Sunday 10th July. There was also a book signing by Grey Gowrie after the concert on Friday July 15th. Reviews of each concert will be linked to from the Concerts page until next year's programme is announced.
